As part of a small distinct team, you will need to be able to apply core Air Traffic Engineering skills to a variety of airport and CNS/ATM projects throughout Europe. You will have a sound understanding of European regulatory and safety requirements and be able to provide analysis, insights and solutions to ATM operations. A practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Project) will be required and a broader understanding of IT would be a distinct advantage. Training will be given in the use of specialised software packages.

As part of a small distinct team, you will need to be willing to develop a systems design capability for general ATC communication and navigational aid equipment including surveillance radar. You will develop this Air Traffic Engineering skill and knowledge at a variety of airport and CNS/ATM projects throughout Europe; consequently there may be a need to travel and undertake short-term detachments to project sites. You will also need to develop a good understanding of the European regulatory and safety requirements that underpin all CNS/ATM work. A practical knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.
