He is a specialist in airspace design and has managed several airspace change proposals in the last 4 years. In addition, he has developed a good working knowledge of procedure design and successfully managed the development and implementation of instrument approach procedures at several airports – most notably at Eleftheros Venizelos (Athens International Airport)

Since joining Cyrrus, Richard has continued his association with radar projects; however, his latest role was as project manager of the runway upgrade programme at Oxford Airport. This included the installation of airport air navigation equipment (AANE) on the airfield and in the ATC Tower. His experience of previous ‘transition into service’ of new ATC facilities at London Stansted and Athens International Airport ensured the continuity of operation during the upgrade.

In this role he developed a business style based on integrity, trust and commitment to the customer.
