Thinking - ICAO PANS-OPS Instrument Flight Procedure Design

Aircraft landing Cyrrus can provide all non-precision and precision instrument flight procedures (IFP) based upon conventional ground-based radio navigational aids as well as satellite-based (GNSS) procedures. We can also provide terminal area, arrival and departure route design. Our designer uses the latest software package from ASAP sro to complete 3-D modelling work. Each design is fully documented and includes an assessment of the building and terrain obstacles, an assessment of compliance to ICAO and national legalisation as well as WGS 84 surveying appropriate to the required task.

Through our strategic partnership with Cobham Flight Inspection we will also validate all designed procedures through independent flight inspection and evaluation of the procedures. This allows all procedures to be flown and assessed to ensure that they are practical and flyable, prior to formal publication. This added value gives assurance to aircraft operators, CAA Regulators and ATC service providers that all procedures are robust and – above all else - safe.
